Sunshine Coast Futsal was incorporated as an association on 24 June 1996. With 300 registered players in the first year and being staffed totally by volunteers we have now grown to just over 1000 registered players. Financially we operate under a user pays system with the operating costs being covered by the players. We also own and operate The Football Shop, a small retail outlet located in Maroochydore catering specifically to Futsal and Football (soccer) players, stocking brands such as Joma, Nike, Select, Kappa, Veto, Uhlsport, Tecbo,  Kelme, and Best Team.
Our playing venues are based between Caloundra and Gympie.

 

Mission:

To promote the sport of Futsal and provide participation opportunities across all levels of the community.
To develop in coaches and players the correct techniques, ball skills and tactical awareness to ensure enjoyment of the game at both a social and competitive level.
To keep abreast of developments in the sport and pass these on to our members.

 

Affiliation:
Sunshine Coast Futsal Association is an Incorporated Association which is affiliated with Football Queensland, Football Australia (FA) and FIFA. As a recognised Football Queensland club we are bound by FA Rules and Regulations and Code of Conduct. Players have the opportunity to follow the FA futsal pathway from local club futsal, to regional premier league competitions and have the chance to represent Queensland Metro at the FA National Championships.  Seniors have the opportunity to represent in the State Futsal League called The F-League.
